WHO IS CCF FOR?

Anyone with an interest in wedding photography that wants to learn shit and hang out with other amazing creatives.

what is a 'CAMP-WORKSHOP-CONFERENCE THING'?

It's the best of all of those three things, with the worst of those three things taken out. It's a camp in how community-focused and intimate it is; but without having sand in your tent. It's a workshop in that... well, there's workshops; but it's way bigger than a workshop. And it's a conference in that you get to see a whole lot of people speak about different topics; but it's not disconnected and boring like a work conference.

When will tickets be available?

Tickets are available now!

How do I pay?

It's be a $1000 retainer to lock in your ticket, and then the remainder will be due a month before camp.

DOES THE TICKET INCLUDE ACCOMMODATION & FOOD?

You know it! Four nights in an awesome little cottage, and lunch and dinners throughout (with an awesome caterer and yes they cater for the vegos/vegans/whatevers)

WILL I GET TO SEE EVERYTHING?

Everything and everyone. There's nothing worse than those festivals you rock up to and your favourite two bands are playing at the same time. You'll be able to see every speaker and do all the workshops / activities. Unless you sleep in - then you're on your own.

WHAT'S THE BUNKING SITUATION?

We’re aiming for around three peeps per cottage which means you’ll get your own room. If there’s particular people you want to be in the same cottage with – let us know when you book (you can rock, paper, scissors for who gets the queen bed). Every cottage has its own bathroom and shower. We like the term ‘camp’ – but we’re city-folk at heart, and that means we don’t want it feeling like your high school leavers trip to Rottnest.

WHY DONNELLY?

The remoteness. The fact that there’s no distractions – unless you count the pretty tame kangaroos and emus as distractions (which you totally should). The awesome little cottages. How amazing it is for photos. The fact that there’s probably no better spot we could imagine to bring a bunch of rad wedding photographers together to be f**king awesome.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Donnelly River is a three hour drive south of Perth (here it is on Google Maps). If you're coming from interstate you'd fly into Perth then drive down. If you want to carpool or anything, then we'll have a FB Group going on for attendees to sort that out if you want.

IS THERE RECEPTION / INTERNET?

Not really. There's a couple of spots that have Telstra connection if you lean the right way, but it's pretty much off the grid. There's a phone in the office, and if you really need your mobile / internet, it starts kicking in about a 15 minutes drive towards the nearest town.

what about coffee?

The Donnelly shop sells proper coffee (and snacks and drinks and stuff) and we'll have an area for instant / tea / hot chocolate or whatever going too.

WILL I HAVE ANY SPARE TIME?

We've added an extra day this year so we can do a few more workshops and have a bit more chilled time - so you've got a bit more time to take it all in and, most importantly, go exploring or hang with new & old friends.

will there be day-passes available?

Because our emphasis is on community, we're not doing any day-passes because we want people to get the full experience of CCF.

I'M A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER, WILL I GET ANYTHING OUT OF CCF?

Totally! We have a couple of videographers that make the trip every year, a lot of the topics we find that video peeps will get just as much out of it as photog peeps. There may be a couple of topics that are more 'photography-specific', but overall it's a good fit.

CAN I REFUND OR TRANSFER MY TICKET?

There's no refunds but you can transfer your ticket to someone else if you can't make it (just let us know so your friend doesn't have to wear your name tag around the whole time)

WHO ORGANISES CCF?

Jenna Mason, Glenn Weaver, and Lauren Hall. You can see the crack squad here.
